With the inauguration of this lab, RT-PCR testing facility is now available at 12 government laboratories of the state. This will help increase number of daily RT-PCR tests besides speeding up turnaround time for results.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pradeshkhabar.in\/?p=44428\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ICICI Foundation provided machines for virology labs in Jashpur, Balodabazar, Dantewada and Janjgir<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Durg (City) MLA Mr. Arun Vora, Health Department Principal Secretary Dr. Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, Health Services Director Mr. Neeraj Bansod, National Health Mission Director Dr. Priyanka Shukla, Durg Collector Mr. Sarveshwar Bhure, State Nodal Officer of Virology Lab Dr. Kamlesh Jain and medical experts of Microbiology Department of AIIMS Raipur and Raipur Medical College also joined the virtual launch programme.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pradeshkhabar.in\/?p=44389\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rs 44 crore approved for various 21 irrigation projects<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cRT-PCR is the most reliable and accurate test for detecting active Covid-19 infection. RT-PCR testing facility has already been started in all government medical colleges of the state and Korea district headquarter, Baikunthpur. Now, the number of daily tests will increase with the commencement of RT-PCR testing facility in Durg.
